Delete your account

You can delete your Plando account any time. It’s for good: your cards can’t be brought back afterwards.

In the app

1. Open Settings → Account.
2. Tap “Delete account”.
3. Tick “I understand this is for good” and tap “Delete for good”.

The account is deleted at once. Your other devices find out within seconds and erase the cards from their memory themselves.

Without the app

Write from the email your account uses to plando.support@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll delete the account and all its data within 7 days and let you know when it’s done.

What is deleted

• your account and email;
• all your cards, including ones you deleted earlier;
• photos, files and voice notes from your cards;
• parsing settings, devices and notification tokens;
• the Telegram link and messages to the bot still waiting to be processed;
• error reports.

What stays

• Card backups: each is kept for 30 days, so 30 days after the deletion your cards are in none of them.
• Requests to OpenAI, for up to 30 days, under OpenAI’s rules on abuse protection.
• A hash of your email, if the account was blocked for abusing the AI.
• Your chat with the bot inside Telegram itself: delete it in Telegram.

Removing the app from your phone or PC doesn’t delete your account. The data on the server stays until you delete the account in one of the ways above.
